Te-Arai Community Garden Group
New gardeners welcome! Grow organic veggies and herbs, meet neighbours, get some exercise and enjoy the ‘fruits of your labours’. Ours is a communal garden. There are monthly working bees and people pitch in with the ongoing watering and maintenance.

Monday Drop In
Want to have a day out? Share a meal and maybe a laugh? Have a say in the food you eat and the places you see? Then Monday Drop In is for you! We meet every Monday in South Melbourne for a meal followed by an activity. Monday Drop In is designed for people who have mental health issues, other disabilities, socially isolated and live in local rooming houses or SRS accommodation. We’d love to see you there! Speaking Out
Voices of the South Side is an exciting program for people who may be feeling isolated and interested in creative projects. It is a supportive program that connects people up to new networks and activities in the City of Port Phillip. There will be a variety of opportunities for people to explore their creativity, speaking and leadership skills through free courses. The new ‘Speaking out’ Course is a nine week course offered to a small group of people who want to: Feel comfortable speaking in public, Talk off the cuff, Really listen, Feel comfortable in meetings, Improve your communication skills, Get your point across clearly, Handle conflict, Develop self-confidence, Look after yourself and others, Be connected to new social networks, Gain access to a range of other courses and activities

Women’s Activity Group
Would you like to meet other women in an interactive environment and supporting social network? Then Women’s Activity Group is for you! WAG is a fortnightly social and recreational program for low-support independent women with mental health issues, who may also have other physical challenges/disabilities.The group is supported by two facilitators and generally involves a social outing, activity, presentation or workshop and there is a dynamic range of activities offered. The group is designed the interests of the participants wherever possible. Transport is provided for those who live in the area.
